Incredible!! That’s the first word that comes to mind when reflecting on the dynamic changes that the Buteyko Breathing Center, and Sasha Yakovleva and Thomas Fredricksen have brought me.
Asthma plagued me when I was younger but it seemed to go away. I thought it was gone for good, until it relentlessly returned without mercy in my early 20s. I thought I’d never be able to play my saxophone again when an asthma attack hit me hours before an important performance. Attending college for music and not being able to play any wind instruments all of a sudden was obviously a huge problem. Not to mention living day to day depending on steroids had frightening side effects. My heart would race, my breathing would increase and I often felt scared nearly to death. I often had to go to the nearest hospital’s Emergency Room just to bring temporary relief. I was extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to attend a workshop at the Breathing Center. That wonderful two day experience exposed me to what Buteyko himself called Breathing Normalization in a comfortable group setting, while still getting my questions answered.
I then realized that their Buteyko Breathing Normalization course, which is a one-on-one experience with amazing daily support and follow-up, was extremely worth the tuition. I applied what I was taught daily and progressed rapidly to a full recovery. I can’t say enough about how much my life has changed for the better thanks to Sasha, Thomas, and the Breathing Center. I have even decided to continue my education and learn how to teach the amazing discoveries of Dr. Konstantin Buteyko so that I can help others find the freedom that has changed my Life.
This experience has taken me from being an Invalid to near perfect health and I continue to get even healthier. My entire body has improved! Every aspect of my health has been positively impacted by applying the Buteyko Breathing method.
I run, I workout and most importantly to me (and my growing number of fans 🙂 I CAN PLAY THE SAX AGAIN…Whatever your personal health challenge is; find the Freedom from illness that I and many others have found through Sasha, Thomas and their staff. It will be one of the greatest moves you’ve ever made.
