Professional Dancer: I Was Trained To Hyperventilate

She had sinus surgery, had no energy and her asthma kept getting worse!

Meet this Buteyko Breathing Center student, a former professional dancer and Pilates teacher, who speaks of her struggles with asthmatic breathing difficulties and other symptoms. One day after logging into the Embodiment Conference online, she listened to the co-founder of the Buteyko Breathing Center, Sasha Yakovleva, deliver a speech about breathing difficulties. She felt compelled to work with her and decided to sign up for the Breathing Normalization training. Listen now as she tells her story on her pursuit to end her breathing difficulties for good and improve her overall health! Her journey was beautiful as she describes it but not easy, greatly because earlier she was trained to breathe incorrectly. Until she met Sasha, she was chronically hyperventilation and weakening her health. While moving, she was mostly breathing through her mouth and losing energy.

I think working with me was also challenging for Sasha because my nose was constantly stuffy and I was not able to breathe through my nose. I felt almost hopeless. Then, suddenly it changed, and after that, I was able to breathe through my nose and sleep well, and many things improved. Sasha was firm and positive, and helped me through my dark days.
