Cystic Fibrosis, Endless Cough, and Buteyko Breathing

 

 

This young woman was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at an early age, and as her health continued to decline, she began seeking additional resources to help her. Cystic fibrosis, the hereditary disease, affects the lungs and digestive systems, and it left this active, vibrant woman who was a competitive dancer, wheelchair-bound, and unable to no longer live life to its fullest.

Eventually, her mother talked to Sasha Yakovleva, Advanced Buteyko Specialist, who agreed to help her daughter. They signed up for a Buteyko Breathing Normalization Training course, and this young woman’s healing journey began. It was not easy or short but the results were remarkable.
