It is intended for medical professionals as well as for people who suffer from breathing difficulties, including all forms of asthma and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), snoring, and sleep apnea. However, the book is useful for anyone who wants to know more about Breathing Normalization, directly from the source. The book describes the breathing exercises and contains many useful suggestions, including techniques on how to prevent hyperventilation during sleep and how to accurately take breathing measurements. In addition, there is a comprehensive guide to steroid therapy, and how you can practice this in combination with Dr. Buteyko’s method. The techniques described in the book are for both children and adults. The author, Dr. Andrey Novozhilov, is the medical director of Clinica Buteyko Moscow and one of the patent-holders of the Buteyko Method in Russia.
