I haven't been in touch with you for quite some time now and I've been wanting to give you and Thomas an update on how I have been doing. But first I would like to say that unfortunately my job has kept me from attending the continuing education seminars on Saturdays and it has become quite stressful due to a lack of help. The good news is that I don't let that stress affect my breathing anymore.
It's hard to believe that I'm going on my fourth year now since I had asthma. As a matter of fact, I haven't been sick in over three years! A few times over the years I have felt what I would call the beginnings of a sore throat. Immediately I will start doing more breath holds, as many as I can throughout the day and the soreness always goes away. Last year everyone in my office got sick except me. Back when I was still asthmatic I didn't have a chance. I'd get shortness of breath and intense mucus would build up in my lungs.
The article you wrote the other day about nose breathing is so true. That is one of the tools I learned from you and Thomas and is the first step to good health. It's unbelievable how powerful our noses are and the amount of germs they keep out of our lungs. And allergies, forget it, they don't exist in my life any more! I can't remember the last time I had a sneezing attack. I'm sure it was at least four years ago.
Thanks to you and Thomas I am feeling better than ever and I am free of any medication.
