Buteyko Breathing Technique Is Doing What The Inhaler Did For Me *

I have been an asthmatic from a young age. After completing the Buteyko Breathing Normalization course, I am confident that it is going to continue to help me reduce the asthma symptoms I experience – I have received a plausible explanation for the symptoms I experience and a method to combat those. The Buteyko Method is doing what the asthma-inhaler did for me, except that it is natural and I do not risk getting worse from medicine. I have had a very strong feeling of getting worse since I started taking medicine for asthma, instead of feeling better and more healthy as the pharmaceutical companies advertise and insist.

The Buteyko Method, on the other hand, has shown promising results. For me, who has a strong disbelief in the modern medication/treatment of so-called “chronic diseases” such as asthma, it is much easier to carry the Buteyko Method around than one or two inhalers I do not want to use. My conscience is clear! The sessions I had with a Buteyko Specialist have been very interesting, challenging, and a great learning experience. She has also been patient with me and I felt more compassion from her than I did from any doctor.

I now continue to do the Buteyko breathing exercises I learned and I face the challenge of adapting the method to my specific needs and my life situation. If you are a person who by principle refuses to take medicines and feels a need to find another natural cure/treatment you should definitely give it a try. Whatever the symptoms you are experiencing this course might give you a new path in life.
