I'm nearing completion of my Level 1 training in the Buteyko Breathwork, and I just wanted to write to let you know what an amazing experience this has been for me. I started the Breathwork with the intention of raising my overall energy level, which was not good, and optimizing both my physical and spiritual health.
When I began the Breathing Normalization work, I had for some time been experiencing a combination of confusion and apathy that were severely getting in the way of doing what I wanted to do in my life.
It's been about two months now, and though in the beginning it was difficult for me to focus well enough to put aside the time to work the program fully, the more I did, the more it began to affect both my mood and my energy level. I'm now experiencing a sense of bedrock calmness that is pretty constant, and from a chronic exhaustion that essentially knocked me out of commission for half of my day, I've now got a normal level of energy that allows me to accomplish whatever I want and need to do.
And the breathwork sessions themselves have become profound. The sense of deep stillness and peace, the appreciation for the natural world I see outside my window, and for the Presence that underlies and informs it -- all are quite astonishing and deeply nourishing. And this extends throughout the rest of my day. I do a lot less rushing around than I used to, and I frequently stop to notice a gorgeous sky or a beautiful stand of trees, and as soon as I do that sense of immediacy and connection to nature and the Cosmos is right there.
I'm so impressed that I'm actually considering applying for the Practitioner Training Program.
Thanks for all your help!
